薛莉，女，西安市人，出生于1967年8月22日。高中毕业于长安二中，1987年9月至1991年7月在陕西师范大学外语系就读，获得学士学位。1991年7月被分配到原西安师范学院外语系任教至今，先后主讲过“大学英语”“英语精读”，“翻译理论与实践”，等课程，发表了英语教学及英汉翻译方面的论文十数篇。曾在2005至2007年间就读于陕西师范大学外国语言学与应用语言学研究生班，获得“优秀学员”。2008年12月被评为副教授。在2007到2016年间担任英语基础教研室主任

　　  My name is xueli. I was born in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province in the year of 1987. My secondary education was completed in the formerly Changan No. 2 Middle School. During the period from 1987 to 1991, I was in Shaanxi Normal University, studying English literature and successfully got the Bachelor of Art. In July, 1991, I was assigned to the formerly Normal College of Xi’an Union University and worked as an English teacher at the English Department. Since then, I have been here teaching courses such as theCollege English for Non English Majors, theEnglish Intensive Readings andPractice and theory in E-C Translation. I have published formally dozens of essays mostly on the English teaching and Translation. finished my postgraduate education majoring in the foreign linguistics and applied linguistics at Shaanxi Normal University from the year 2005 to 2007 and had been honored with the“Excellent Student”. Also, I had been in charge in of fundamental department of Foreign Language School from 2007 to 2016 .While keeping on teaching for so many years, I have won the“Excellent Teacher”award  for no less than one times. In December 2010, I was graded as the associate professor.
